The three academies with whom we worked are led by men who are not only world class athletes like the Neto brothers, but are committed to helping get guys off the streets, off drugs, out of gangs, out of prostitution, in the neighborhoods where they grew up. And they do this totally on faith, providing food, uniforms, medical needs, etc for their students from their own pockets or donations! Amazing men! We also wrestled with guys out in the jungle at a drug rehabilitation camp where guys are getting their lives back after years of addictions. Your mats are being used to literally save the lives of young men who would otherwise have no hope and a life expectancy of around 20 years or less. What a simple yet powerful tool! "We purchased our Get Rung mats
for a play about a stage combat choreographer, "Master
of Fence". Which means that, pretty much
every night for three months, we fought on our Get Rung mats with fencing foils.
Then we fought on our Get
Rung mats with broadswords. Then clubs, shields, quarter staves, rapiers,
and daggers. Believe it or not, the mats looked as good when we finished
our run as they did when we started rehearsals. Perhaps more importantly: we
didn't have a single injury during the entire process.
And I attribute that, at

3/8" Multi-Purpose Mats for Martial Arts Our 3/8" product is thinner than the typical martial
arts and wrestling mats, but it can work for this application. Some extra prep
work may be involved in the installation adding additional rigidity to the product
seams and general stability. The product must installed by adhering the
tiles to the floor to be effective, |
