"EVA" is Ethylene Vinyl Acetate. 

It is a non-toxic material and our has specifically been tested by multiple institutes to be both LEAD and LATEX FREE.

Some general properties of the material include:

good weather and chemical resistance
water proof - oil resistance
 good acoustic, sound dampening properties
highly insulative both to hot and cold

COLOR DESCRIPTIONS

GRAY:   dark smoky charcoal, almost black
TAN:   medium caramel, like an iced coffee
BLUE:   royal blue
RED:   almost brick red
YELLOW:   bright yellow, a little darker than primary
GREEN:   close to kelly green
PURPLE:   medium toned, violet
ORANGE:   medium toned
PINK:   middle road pink, not pastel, not hot lips!
WHITE:   White, with a very slight hint of gray (easier to keep clean)

This extremely dense foam can be found in many commercial applications from flip flops to handle grips to flotation safety devices to sports safety equipment. We have found that EVA foam readily accepts paint, glues and various finishes.
